First Payment of Pension after Retirement

The following documents are required to be produced by a pensioner for receipt of first payment after retirement:
1. Call letter sent to them by the DPDO.
2. Forwarding Memo of Record Office/H.O.O.
3. Non employment certificate/re-employment certificate and Certificate for non-drawal of any other pension, issued by the Village/ revenue authorities.
4. In case of re-employed pensioners, a certificate in the prescribed format to the effect that the pay on re-employment  has been fixed without taking into account the quantum of military service and completely ignoring the amount of military pension drawn by the PBOR.
5. NBS Option Form indicating the bank branch. This should be got filled in and signed under the seal of the respective bank branch.
6. Three Joint Photographs duly attested by Gazetted officers/ Secretary Zila  Sainik Board.
7. Pension Certificate (in case of Civilians) issued to them by the Pension Sanctioning Authorities (i.e., PCDA(P) Allahabad or PCDA(Navy) Mumbai or CDA(Air Force) as the case may be)/Discharge certificate (in case of PBORs) issued to them by the Record Office.
8. Identity Card issued by Govt Department or any autonomous/semi-autonomous organisation (not applicable in case of Commissioned Officers).
9. Bank Pass book.
